Got invites to the CRAY party tonight at the Hilton, just got back in, free food and drink.
Went on to a micro brew pub, there was a great live band and a very funny and drunk American.
Sorry but thats all your getting, I'm shattered a little drunk and need to be up at 7am tomorrow DOH!

So i have got round to getting some images uploaded, these first few are from my initial walk around downtown area...
This is one of many water fountains that are dotted around the place, I don't know if you are meant to use them for drinking water or what, but they look like they could be...
This is quite cool, its painted on the side of a building, but standing where I took the picture makes it look very 3D

My only assumption is they have too many students in the area, I spotted a few cones like this bolted to the ground...

Well up early again today, going to a tutorial on parallel programming... Might as well make use of my all accesses pass that I have for the conference.
The only problem is the tutorial is fro 8:30 to 17:00 and I still have to do some work setting up the VR stuff.... humm
Well I'm sitting in the tutorial at the moment, but I will probably have to jump out and come back in a couple of hours... :o(
Sorry there is still no photos! I will get round to it one day...

Well the VR equipment is almost up, I have some photos but you will have to wait till later for that... Just need to set up tracking tomorrow, but left one of the camera clamps at the hotel! DOH!
So I woke up at 7:30 this morning without an alarm wide awake... :( could not believe it! I needed a lot more sleep than that.
When for a walk downtown, its a lovely place and all the trees are turning, looks great, took a couple of photos, will get some of those up here as well tonight.
So far, all is well...

But I'm in the hotel now, am unpacked and showered. Feeling a bit more human. Thats as much as your going to get though... its midnight here, and I have to be up in the morning.

I'm doing well so far, two posts in one day! I managed to find a cheep WiFi spot, there are no free ones in Terminal 4 
not good! But I have some time to kill now, and have already looked at all the shops here and had breakfast.
It seems that the new revamp of terminal 4 has brought some big shops here, the only problem is that you need a pocket with at least $500 in it!
Well I think my gate has just opened I am going to go get some sweets to suck on the plane and make my way over to the gate.

Hello, will I might as well get started now as I wont have much time while I'm there I imagine.
I am on the RailAir Coach to the airport and they have free WiFi how great is that!
So its Friday the 13th, and my day has started out well, I get to Reading station at 7:30 to by my coach ticket, and my bank card gets declined!
Fortunately I was able to draw money out of the bank, and the guy at the till seems to think it might have been him... But never the less still gave me a heart attack! I didn't think I was going to be leaving Reading, let alone get half way round the world....
But i'm on my way, wish me luck :o)....
